@gunboundsuck It monitors driver input. For example when you are getting ready to pass a vehicle, you should signal. The radar also knows if the vehicle is moving in front of you. This system is mainly designed to prevent rear end collisions when the car in front is at a dead stop, or moving significantly slower than you. Also using safe driving practices you should pass a vehicle without being right on top of them as to not be in their blind spot.

@gunboundsuck If you are overtaking you would have to over ride the system unless you set the speed higher. As long as you aren't heading towards the car infront it won't brake.

my family is thinking of getting one but i have a question. What if i am overtaking a car? does it brake 40% when im too close to the car in front?? that would suck..

I have a 2010 S550 with all options also a 2010 BMW 750Li, also fully loaded. Both are amazing vehicles as far as safety & comfort.

@DangerousMirax I respect them, because they have many models 4 example, that I like very much. :) And of course I like the S class performance, they beat BMW in terms of hp. I like their Suv's too, the M class is cool. |
