@VR6OhMy i m an audi tech and was a vw tech worked on all this cars you talk about.. what youre saying you can read anywhere but you think an a3 and a4 bodieds are the same and just the interios are different . thats the most ridiculous thing i ve ever heard your just some guy that reads magazines and you think you know audis and vws.. audis are full of technology that vws dont have.. good bye please dont waste my time anymore.

Don't take my comments the wrong way. I like all of their products, they just went the wrong way putting a FWD drivetrain in an Audi is all.
VR6OhMy (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Quattro drivetrain, identical to the VW R32. All A4's, A5's, A6's and A8's have Torsen based AWD systems. The A3 and TT are the only Audi products sold here in North America with Haldex based Quattro systems which would place the engine transverse. Go do some work carl and trying to show someone up when you clearly are illiterate or just completely ignorant.

@carlosk91311Re-read my post(s) then and learn something, then actually get underneath an A3 and you'll see a transversely mounted engine. The first model year the 2.0 was ONLY available in FWD. They then put the 3.2 VR6 in there, which was still TRANSVERSELY mounted and utilizes a Haldex based |
