Audi ist best, but as long as the electric energy comes from coal plants, e-cars produce a lot more CO2 than normal gas cars.(since a 2012 VW gas engine has a way higher efficieny than a 70s gas turbine) e-cars are neither green nor cost efficient, but may help shanghai and LA by getting rid of smog <- the only adventage of an e-car, unless you live in germany where more and more of the electirc energy you need to "gas up" comes from the sun/wind/earth heat/plants/..
