I agree. Yes, the RS4 sounds great, but there is so much valve whine coming from the engine bay that it almost sounds supercharged (it isn't).

I would agree with you to a certain extent. Awd is a viable performance characteristic. I'm not going to waste everyones time explaining this. If you want proof, type in top gear audi s4 vs m3. there is your proof. 1 whole second faster then the m3 and almost as fast as the lambo murcielago.(all on dry pavement)

I love how people go to a video of a single car by itself doing an exhaust sound check (of all things), and then start explaining about why their car is just SO much better because of this and that, or debating the performance ability of AWD vs. RWD on wet roads or dry roads or some other bullshit no one cares about. Unless you're comparing S4 aftermarket exhaust notes, no one gives a shit about your opinions.

AWD also gives you more traction which would be helpful in racing. Instead of skidding, you would go around the corner. I will give you that they get worse fuel economy. One of the most iconic sports car of all time would have to be the Porsche 911 which is AWD. I saw a 911 on Super Cars Exposed and it got a better time than a Ferrari (360???0 and a Lotus Exige. The porsche had a better up hill and down hill time.
