@mustsilm These vehicle are both available new right now! And these are the two current models. As you probably know, this Toyota was first launched in 1985 and this model LR, , was first launched in 1984. Both had different engines and drive-trains. My view is that these two vehicles are bought by the same type of buyers - those who want expedition-suitable wagons. Hence the comparison.

Hi. I dont get one thing about this comparison. Why you compare brand new Land Rover with 10-15 years old Toyota? Or they still build these in Australia or smth? Because in Europe they dont sell this type Landcruiser (Landcruiser 70) since 97. The last models are from 96 and then a new model was made which looks completely different styling wise. Why i ask this, is exactly because of this, i mean you arent comparing cars from same tme period.

@1996BulletProof I don't agree. When travelling in the hot desert, the vents and the ventilation system is important. The off-road action is only the most important when off-road, and these vehicle, in general, spend most of their time on road.

@mickburke15 But I didn't. I picked the Land Cruiser as the best. I have owned both and enjoyed both, but I now drive Land Cruisers. See part-2 for the conclusion. (I made the video on 4xforum.com)
