I know that stretch of the turnpike. I'm from Pittsburgh and travel that part of the turnpike all the time. But yeah I agree with all of you. the 1st gen was the best and looked much better than the 2nd gen. It looks like they tried doing an updated version of the first gen but also took some design cues from buick.

@aaminjoshi91 yea, i have a 4.7 in mine too they will run forever. i put a flowmaster 40 in mine sounds goos go on youtube look up phils truck its a white durango no engine leaks anywhare or the trans

@aaminjoshi91 i agree i have a 2001 durango i think 99-03 durangos were the best after that they were ugly until the new one .99-03 durangos were a perfect size not too small not too big just right

i just don't know why they made changes from the 1st gen...the formula wasn't broken, so why did they try to fix it?? it's like mazda with their 2 gen 6, the first gen created some fan boys and was the sporty alternative to the boring hondas and toyotas, now they are all the same...hopefully mazda and doge can make things right. oh, and don't get me started with the Charger... |
