I bought a Fit Sport new in 2008 and it's still a great car. For the money you can't get better. The 2007 and 2008 exterior designs were even more awkward than the current one — think a mini mini-van — but I've come to love the weirdness! Like having a English Bulldog for a car....so strange looking, it's oddly adorable! Also it's "fit" at least six inebriated friends during my DD duties. Yes, at once.

I like the idea of the toilet paper test. Storage space numbers don't really mean anything if it can't fit bulky shapes.

@ninjaman989 - I have this car with the same nav system. DriveCar got it right, it's far from high-end. There are only two freq. adjustments for the eq (bass and trebble). In short, I'd say it sounds OK if not below industry average. I've not had the opportunity to compare it to others in the same subcompact class. It's not so bad that I need to wire up an aftermarket amp and speakers though. It certainly covers the road noise on 75mph runs and the car generates very little wind noise.

Uh, no. The car's chassis is nimble, period. It also has little body roll and at least with the Dunlop tires, it has impressive lateral grip.VSA only comes to play in extreme handling conditions, like if you did something really stupid entering a corner.

Those bad road conditions would have been a great oportunity to test the electronic stability control on the Fit Sport.

I live in the Philippines and owned a 2009 Jazz (Fit) for about 6 months before I moved to a place where I had to have an SUV for additional ground clearance. I had the most sedate of all the models available here, the 1.3 with auto trans. Even in that configuration it is a GREAT car and extremely fun to drive. When I go back to the states I intend to buy a Fit Sport. Again, this is a great car and I really miss mine. BTW, get it in red... very sporty look.

i love my 2010 blackberry pearl honda fit sport. currently getting 37mpg highway.
